Itinerary

The other day it occurred to me that despite the wedding taking place
in Vegas people may still want to know what the plan is, if there is
a plan.

There is, in fact, a plan.

Sunday, 10/29/06.

Arrive at approximately 4:44pm.

Proceed to the Luxor Hotel & Casino where Heather and I will be
staying for the duration of our trip. A few people have said they
will be in town on Sunday as well. It is very likely that we will all
meet up for dinner sometime in the early evening. We'll have our cell
phones on (and charged) so give a call if you're in town and we'll
hook up.

Monday, 10/30/06.

Daytime:
Proceed to "Marriage Bureau" @ 201 Clark Avenue
Las Vegas, Nevada 89155-1603 to get the marriage license

Evening:
Family Dinner at 5pm. Location to be determined

If you're not family, you can't come. Sorry. Our folks
haven't met yet, so we're going it alone. We’ll hook up with y'all
after, as you'll see...

Later:
Bachelor & Bachelorette parties!!!

The men's bachelor party will begin in a casino (so we can
get free booze) and continue on to God knows where.

The Women's Bachelorette party (which is, actually, anyone
who isn't going with the Bachelor party) will begin.
We're heading out to Fremont Street to see the light show,
unless someone else has a better idea...

Tuesday, 10/31/06

The wedding starts promptly at 5pm. If you arrive any later than
5pm(or if you arrive on time, but in any sort of costume) you will
not be allowed into the chapel. Please be on time.
The ceremony should take 30 – 45 minutes.

The reception dinner will be held directly following the wedding. The
location has yet to be determined. After dinner you are free to do
whatever you wish. Heather and I will be otherwise occupied (dirty!).

Wednesday, 11/01/06

Morning: We will meet for brunch sometime before noon. The location
has yet to be determined, but will likely be a buffet. Some people
will be leaving on Wednesday, so goodbyes will be said at that time
Much crying will ensue, and, possibly, rending of garments.

Thursday, 11/02/06

Heather and I will be leaving Las Vegas (hee!) at 5:50pm. We don't
have any plans for Thursday, so if you're still in town give us a
call and maybe we can hang out.

Gift Registry

Just wanted to give everybody a heads up. The lovely wife (Heather) and myself (Chris) have completed our gift registry and are now proudly displaying our desire for people to buy us things (as wedding gifts).

We are registered at Crate & Barrel, CB2 and Linens-N-Things

There will be more updates as the weeks go by, so keep checking in to see what new adventures we have. We are moving in together on Saturday (8/26), so that should be really exciting.

In case you're afraid you won't know which hotel is which, in Vegas...
