quick question:

Why is it that famous people read mostly non-fiction?

are they afraid to admit they've got some Douglas Coupland or Diana Gabaldon in their backpacks?

Is it too revealing to admit they love Scott Westerfeld

hmm. I guess it would make me stalk them more to know that, now that I think about it....

That's just what they admit to reading, to make them look good.

I'm totally reading non-fiction now. "Under the Black Flag: The Romance and Reality of Pirates." See? Aren't you impressed?

but then again, I'm reading nonfiction, too.

but, The Face of a Naked Lady, despite being a sort of "midnight in the garden of good and evil" of the midwest, isn't quite as impressive sounding....
