I haven't even seen it, but I know it'll be my new favorite show.
Thank goodness I have the Travel Channel, because if I couldn't catch tonight's premiere episode of Anthony Bourdain. No Reservations. I think I'd probably have a heart attack.
or perhaps just a fit or something. I loves me some irreverent chef!
in other news, I got the most lovely sapphire from the talented gentlemanfriend yesterday. remind me to post a picture, won't you?
update: the pendant looks a little like this,
but the central stone is a sapphire, not a diamond, and, well, it's totally prettier.
no, not really, it is totally better looking than the hope diamond, but I am too lazy to take a decent photo today....

Thanks for the reminder! I'm a HUGE fan of Tony Bourdain, ever since I watched him eat the grossest food in London on "A Cook's Tour." I highly recommend his books, "Kitchen Confidential" and "A Cook's Tour." I love unabashed carnivores!
I'm very partial to sapphires myself since it was the main component of my engagement ring (as requested)...

Have you seen it yet? The Paris episode came off a bit like Food Nation with Bobby Flay meets Insomniac with Dave Attell. In a good way. Not so good that I will be tivoing every episode they way I do the Daily Show, but it certainly beats the hell out of Rick Steves.
