OK Go Video, Yo.
ok, I only know about OK Go because I am a rabid fan of This American Life, but when I saw this video linked on Cool Hunting, I had to check it out.
I couldn't help but post a link to it here - because, well, it's awesome.
yes. awesome. the boy band parody at its very best.
and it's added yet ANOTHER strange young man to my fleeting crush list.
(which includes, if you aren't keeping score at home, alan cumming, cillian murphy, jake gyllenhaal and now (cutie) damien kulash from OK Go. super. as if the gentlemanfriend doesn't have enough people to beat up for invoking my crushes as it is...)

Happy Birthday, Darlin'!
Today The Gentleman Friend's Birthday. (isn't he adorable?)
of course, I can't think of a single thing to write that won't ruin all the fun and surprises and gifties I've arranged for the birthday weekend, so I'll just say that I agree, it's terribly ironic that I'd spend so much of my adult life not liking live music or the beatles and now I'm dating a beatle-loving lead singer.
(duh. I realized what I can say is that Mord is amazing. I'm very glad that I met him. that our friend Leo introduced us. that being together is hilarious and delicious and smokey and saucy and all that good stuff that his wonderful, talented, flattering, smart, and funny self brings. yeah. that's what I can say.)

Jillette names daughter Moxie CrimeFighter
NEW YORK (AP) -- Comedian/magician Penn Jillette's latest stunt did not involve his usual sidekick, Teller: He became the father of a baby girl.
Jillette, 50, and his wife Emily, 39, welcomed Moxie CrimeFighter Jillette on Friday, according to publicist Glenn Schwartz. It was the first child for the couple, who married last year.
"We chose her middle name because when she's pulled over for speeding she can say, `But officer, we're on the same side,'" Jillette explained. "`My middle name is CrimeFighter.'"
The typically mute Teller had no comment on the new arrival.
Penn & Teller currently star in their own series on Showtime, and headline nightly in Las Vegas at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.

I'm an aunt-to-be. so get used to it.
I know it's probably uncouth to show him/her off before s/he's even done developing eyelids, but, seriously, s/he's already got my sister's adorable mouth!
as Karen observed, this is newfangled 3-d pic, rather than the blurry ultrasound...I usually can't figure out what end is what when I see medical pics, but this one is so clearly "baby", I had to show y'all!
