I don't have time for anything. it's haaaaarible.

ok, so I have time to talk to y'all for a minute, while my coffee cools and my coworkers settle in before the morning meeting.

I've been awesomely busy these days. Barely have time to think, let alone blog. things I would have written about, in detail, if I had the time:

--my four freelance jobs:

and that's in addition to my full time job and dating the gentlemanfriend.

--speaking of the incredible gentlemanfriend, he's realized that when my favorite flowers (daffodils, remember?) are out of season, that gift certificates to my favorite massage studio look fabulous in a vase. and I come home glowing like a happy pregnant lady, except without all the baby-inside-bits.

--speaking of pregnant ladies, I'm Going To Be An Anti-Heather!!!! Yes, that's right, the sister of the magnificent cleavage and amazing husband and incredible sisterness is all knocked up and full of baby. she's not showing, yet, except those incredible hooters of hers are getting rounder. I'm so happy for her I can't even begin to write the appropriate boob poetry to accompany the excitement. so, anyway. yeah.

--went to see bodyworlds and loved it so much, I said 'corpse' a zillion times. I'm still pissed that they labeled every single part of the boy-parts, practically down to the circumcision scar, but when we got to the girl parts, the clitoris was unnamed. unlabelled. I wanted to rant and rave, but, instead, I just walked back and looked at the blood family again. because, really, that was the most amazing thing ever.

--went to see Wicked with Blondie, and it was totally awesome, too. I really MUST get back to the theatre to pickup a baby-t, tho. If I could love Galinda any more, I'd marry her. seriously. bubbly, blonde, popular, wealthy, and cruel? what's not to like?!?!?! She was a blonde Karen from Will and Grace, except without the booze! LOVE HER!!!

--workshopping Brandon's graphic novel, which is totally amazing and unlike anything I've ever read...I'd say more, but there isn't enough time....

so I'll close, cool coffee in hand, with a special shout-out to miss blondie herself:

although she's a barbie-collector, she linked to this site in horror at the atrocities those poor barbies have to endure. While I find the site horrid, it's awesome at the same time. Like when your super-hot best friend comes out of the dressing room in an outfit that makes her look like Bea Arthur and you say "honey, you look AMAZING" and she believes you for a minute....THAT kind of awesome.

I love that kind of awesome.

I'd totally do Galinda/Glinda, too! With a strap-on. Doggie-style. Resting my glass of wine on her ass. Then I'd steal all the money out of her wallet and make her fix me dinner.

Bodyworlds was amazing! I highly recommend it to all in the Chicago area. I only wish that my husband and I had had more time in the exhibit, but other obligations called. The full plastinated corpses were definitely the best part of the exhibit although I was most amazed by the arm- and leg-shaped blood vessels. Is that what you're referring to?

We wound up killing some time in the rest of the museum waiting for our turn to enter Bodyworlds. Methinks that the Science and Industry Museum needs some serious updating. Half of those exhibits were old when I was a young tyke on school trips, and they haven't changed. Plus, like 70 percent of their buttons and gadgets and interactive stuff is inoperable.

Btw, the crocheted Barbie clothes and accessories are like a damn trainwreck.
