vertigo
so, I had most of last week off of work, due to an unexplained yet doctor-diagnosed case of vertigo.
I spent the week oversleeping, taking motion-sickness meds, and trying not to feel drunk. (which my not sound so bad, unless you're the glass of water....{apologies to douglas adams})
Props to the fella who kept me from sitting at home, alone, feeling sorry for myself - I owe ya one.
I'll be tipsy and easily-tipped, for the next few months, apparently, as my inner ear slowly gets back to normal.
ah well. at least the prone position makes it easier to play with the puppy on his own terms...

The prone position also allows for other dizzying activities. Bwah-hah-hah-hah-hah!
(I think I'm so goddamned naughty/funny.)

I've been dealing with recurrent vertigo myself for the past few months... have no idea what's causing it. Maybe having some wax removed six months ago...? I guess I should probably look into that.
Gingko-biloba supplements seem to help (they increase blood supply to the brain). I've tried Ginger too, not sure if that's had an effect, but it's good for the tummy anyway. Caffeine and alcohol definitely make it worse.

thanks for the tips, brenda. fingers crossed that we both are feeling better really soon!
and, er, bran, thanks for the naughtiness. I'll keep that in mind on my blind date tomorrow night...(or not...)
