I went to SUPERCOMM and it was okay.

my company sponsors SUPERCOMM

yes, it's as boring as it sounds.

so I took pictures. hooray.


this is about as crowded as the hall got, all day. the guy with his foot up on the ledge just cracks me up.

the forum coordinator loved this glass sculpture. it's HUGE. walking up to the conference, I felt like I was in Florida

through the dirty conference room window, I see the lake and I weep. everyone knew what I was talking about when I told them to turn right at the chihuly to get to our booths

I can't explain it. this wall of bronze, like the guy with his foot on the ledge, made me laugh.it's not like the wine expo was any better than supercomm. I couldn't tell the participants apart, here.

Ah, the rigorous ennui of trade show Chicago. One may indeed find oneself laughing at bronze or arranging one's foot so to assume the stance of a warrior in repose. Working conditions such as these, in my opinion, explain the existence of suburbia, the profusion of games available for the Palm Pilot, and the popularity of Tom Clancy.

I insist (and hope) that you must be very well paid!

ah, if only I were even adequately recompensed for my time, dearest N.

you know as well as I how artists such as ourselves are devalued. words, unfortunately, are cheap.

and writers, a dime a dozen.

lucky for me, I have a dime - know where I can find a dozen writers, love?
