oh, the holiday goodness.
yes, I'm irish. and scottish. and austrian and welsh and all sorts of european mutt-like ethnicities.
but, although I dressed to party, I completely forgot to wear green today. I suppose my eye color will have to suffice.
and no, I still haven't quite figured out the hair. shut up.
(that weird white thing at my beautifully-shod feet is a victorian doorstop. which we keep handy, in case the victorians should want to come and start the door. or something.)

I love the shoes - they're deceptively comfy for 4" pointy girly thingies.
as for how I can afford to dress like someone who is making more than I do, well....
in this particular case, with this particular outfit, I have the new, never-before-mentioned gentlemanfriend to thank...
after three dates of seeing me in jeans, sweaters, and boots, he asked me out on a fun-girly-shopping-date. and, an outfit for heather is born.
I think I could get used to being his "barbie doll with brains".
yes, yes, I can.
ain't nothing wrong with gettin' gifts. from a boy. who happens to have the tightest muscle-y abs I've ever seen on a real live human being. yum.
