It Will Grow Back.
The head, neck, and shoulders massage? fabulous.
The hottie stylist? hilarious.
The barolo in the world's most delicate glass? a perfect welcoming touch.
The haircut? scary.
I feel like, well, basically, yesterday I'm dating Frank Sinatra, the next, I'm working for Roman Polanski. Too bad he wasn't around to do the photo styling - I present: the Picture Picture Spring 2004 Bad Haircut:

It looks gorgeous! And you still look fabulous! But I can see how it might be a little too hippiechick for you . . . you are more hip than hippie :) . . . perhaps this is just Life's way of nudging you to get in touch with your inner granolahead???

i think it looks lovely! i actually went with a slightly different cut last time; although i can't seem to get it to ever look half as good as my stylist does...but, a little change was in store.
basically, my layers round up around the face, kinda similiar to what i see here.

You call this short hair?
Not to be a meanie, but I liked it better before. You're a beautiful girl, but this is not the cut for you.

yeah, for me, this is short. all but a single thin layer of the hair is chin-length or shorter - in fact, it's so short, as most of it won't reach to the back of my head, so a pony tail is out of the question.
I agree with you, glovia, it's not the cut for me. it'll grow back, hopefully by the end of summer.

At least this way, when it grows back, you will totally appreciate and love your shiny, beautiful hair.

Okay, my crack-addled brain is going to finally allow me to respond to an entry posted days and days ago? Well, so be it.
For my two cents worth, I would hardly call the cut short, but then that may be because I have never "really" seen it. Even if i had, though, being a boy (and I guess this next bit will attest to my terminal (yet greatly dismayed) heterosexuality), I don't know that I would have noticed it as being as dramatically shorn as you did, if I managed to notice the cut at all.
I really don't see how you can say you cant make a pony tail of it. I managed, probably owing to some chemicals coursing through my veins, to actually do skinny braids with my hair when it was nowhere *near* as close to my shoulder as your outer sheath is at the present.
But, hey, that's me. My idea of a haircut used to be "grab the clippers and the number 1 sheath... it's a week before Christmas... it's time to get BALD!
...
And to respond to another responder... yes, the nails look nice as well, but I think perhaps a slightly more subdued shade, bordering perhaps on hints of dusky mauve, though I would still insist on the light catching shine! of them, would be even more evocative than the color worn in the photos.
...
I need to remind myself of my gender, so this is ending now.
