Illepid Infestation

word of the day: illepid: dull and unpleasant in conversation.

I hate to say it, but over the last year, my life has been infested with illepid persons. I used to believe that one person's 'illepid' was another's valuable friend, but this isn't really true - it's just that some people realize illepid natures sooner than others.

It'd be petty to list the dull and unpleasant conversationalists here, suffice it to say that I am glad to be with a more enriching, evolved, interesting crowd. John was right - I deserve more than what I was choosing, and I definitely shouldn't take other people's vitriol/insecurity/projections personally.

This is me, brilliant, lovely, multi-talented, and safe, shrugging the weight of it/them off my shoulders.
