A deluxe four bedroom in the suburbs

haven't felt like posting, these past few days - but things have been roller-coastering along nicely, thanks for asking.

helped my sister move on saturday. it went really really well, despite the fact that it was supah-muddy between truck and house, and was supah-white and carpety inside the house. I got to be part of the shoeless 'indoor team' tho, so I had fun running up and down stairs with furniture while the 'outdoor team' slogged through the mud.

the sister's house is large, airy, and I'm happy for her, to have been able to fulfill the dream of a house and yard and all that, but I'm just a little sad that she'll be over an hour's drive away from us-all in the city. it's almost inspired me to renew the driver's license and learn to drive the expressway.

other news: the pride parade was fun, too bad for the barricades that caused no little anxiety among the claustrophobic in the crowd. I met a woman who has been going to the parades every year for 33 years - she was hilarious. nothing specific to report, just that we hollered and laughed and clapped and passed back all the parade goodies that were thrown our way...
