I went to drum class and it was okay.

I picked up a djembe today. Not just to put it down somewhere else - I picked one up to take home and to somehow learn to play. it makes little 'plink' noises when I tap at it, now, but I'm sure I'll get up to speed eventually.

it's heavy. as is the book it came with. different reasons for both weights.

The addition of those items (the drum, the book, the lessons), a few baths, a couple of hugs, and a moment of just sitting and breathing and breathing and sitting, I'm feeling calmer than yesterday, thanks for asking. If you really care to know what's going on, you can always e-mail.

added a photo or two to the ID bar over there - 'sketch heather' looked like she needed a ' photo heather' posse.
